Colleen was the unit publicist during the production of  Reboot: The Guardian Codea Netflix Original Series, during the show’s production in beautiful Victoria, BC. Kirk Group Media has then worked hand in hand with Big Fish Creative’s design team to create ReBoot: The Guardian Code’s stunning media kit and interactive website, www.ReBoot.com. The show launched on Netflix in March 2018 with the KGM team providing PR services, social media strategy, as well as support in the launch of the show in Canada on YTV in June 2018.

ReBoot: The Guardian Code is an epic live-action TV series/CGI animated television series produced by Mainframe Studios in association with Corus Entertainment. Created and produced by Michael Hefferon, the series features awesome animation built in the Unreal Game Engine, a first in television, along with real-life adventure and dynamic characters. Adding to the 360-degree experience are the experiential videos that immerse the viewer into the locations where all of the cyberspace action happens along with a mobile game app that lets kids battle villain’s alongside their favorite Guardian.

 

The show follows the adventures of 4 teenagers who, unbeknownst to them, have been chosen to be the next Guardians of Cyberspace. It’s more than they expected on their first day at a new school. Way more.  The series follows the adventures of the Guardians battling the against the evil Sourcerer and his mission of revenge against the real world, wreaking havoc any way he can. The characters each have a distinct personality and talent, and as they jump into their new roles as Guardians, they learn the values of friendship and teamwork along the way.

Season 1 is streaming on Netflix globally, as well as on YTV in Canada. The game is available on the Apple store for iPhone and Google Play for Android.
